The cushion layer is compacted in all aspects, and then the base concrete is poured to ensure that part of the load is transmitted to the soil between the piles through the cushion layer and to adjust the sharing effect between the piles and the soil.
Setting the cushion layer under the foundation can reduce the pile-soil stress ratio, and by making full use of the function of the soil between piles, the value can be expanded and the stress at the bottom of the foundation can be reduced. By changing the thickness of the cushion layer, the sharing of the pile vertical load can be adjusted The thinner the cushion, the higher the load borne by the pile accounts for the total load, and vice versa.
