Generally, one pile can be driven every 3-5 minutes, which is more efficient.
In order to achieve a good squeezing effect and improve the bearing capacity of the foundation, piles must be driven from the 4th perimeter of the base to the inner ring. The arrangement of piles is preferably in a plum blossom shape, and the distance between piles should not be less than 3 times the pile diameter.
After piling is completed, the pile heads should be sawn flat according to the designed elevation so that the pile tops of each pile are basically kept at the same level. The silt squeezed out during pile driving should be excavated, and a 20-30cm thick graded sand and gravel mattress should be laid on top of the piles. It is compacted, and then the bottom slab concrete is poured to ensure that the foundation transmits part of the load to the soil between the piles through the cushion layer and adjusts the sharing effect between the piles and the soil.
Setting up a mattress layer under the foundation can reduce the pile-soil stress ratio and give full play to the role of the soil between the piles, which can increase the value and reduce the stress concentration on the bottom surface of the foundation. By changing the thickness of the mattress layer, the vertical load-sharing mattress of the piles can be adjusted. The thinner the cushion, the higher the load the piles bear as a percentage of the total load, and vice versa. If there is no cushion, the soil between the piles cannot play a role.
