In the process of building houses in rural areas, we often encounter that the foundation is basically farmland or is on the riverside or pond. Such fragile foundations must undergo special treatment to bear the load of the house. So how to use pine piles in rural houses? What about laying the foundation?
Generally speaking, when encountering a weak foundation, the first thing to consider is to make pile foundations or raft foundations, but after consideration, the homeowner chose to make pine pile foundations. The cost is cheaper than reinforced concrete pile foundations, but it can also play a role in strengthening the foundation. .
1. First dig out the soft soil until the solid soil layer is reached. Before piling, it is recommended to apply 2 layers of hot asphalt on the surface of the pine wood to prevent corrosion, and cut the small end into a 30cm long tip.
2. After placing the sample, start driving pine wood piles. The pile positions should be arranged in a square shape. It should be noted that pine wood is rich in rosin. There is a saying of "water-soaked ten thousand year old pine". Other wood cannot be used to replace pine wood.
3. Hammer the pine piles from the 4th perimeter of the base to the inner circle. The original soil in the pile hole position is forced to be squeezed, which increases the density of the soil layer within a certain range around the pile, thus increasing the bearing capacity of the foundation.
4. Strictly control the density of the piles and ensure that the pine piles are driven vertically into the bearing layer, so that the deep soil can be consolidated and dense.
5. Then backfill the soil and pour a layer of plain concrete. When using pine wood piles to deal with fragile foundations, be sure to use "logs" and do not process them into other shapes at will, especially not saw them in half to form a semicircle.
6. After the maintenance is completed, tie the foundation steel bars and connect them to the column steel bars. The concrete foundation is poured and it is completed.
It can be seen that this construction method is simple and economical, and is more suitable for rural house building. However, there are many details that need to be paid attention to during construction: logs must be used; drilling should be done from 4 weeks inward; wooden piles cannot be halved to save money. Sawing; ensure that the wooden piles are driven into the bearing layer, etc.
If you want to achieve a better effect, you can also add rubble between the piles and fill in some gravel appropriately. This can isolate the base concrete from the silt, so that the strength of the concrete will not be reduced by the silt.
