Setting up a mattress layer under the foundation can reduce the pile-soil stress ratio and give full play to the role of the soil between piles, which can increase the value and reduce the stress concentration on the bottom surface of the foundation.

By changing the thickness of the mattress, the thinner the mattress that adjusts the vertical load of the pile, the higher the load the fir piles bear as a percentage of the total load, and vice versa. If there is no mattress, the soil between the piles cannot be used. Effect.
